CHRISTOPHER MILLEN · BEHIND THE CAMERA
Creativity
beyond comfort.
Restless, imaginative and never quite done exploring.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
Hi, I’m Chris.
Christopher Millen is a Photographer & Creative Producer based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Creating Commercial Photography and Short-form Video for SMBs across Tourism, Music & Arts, Stays & Accommodation, Outdoor and Lifestyle and Commercial. with over a 15 years of experience behind the lens professionally, Chris works with businesses across regional Western Australia, Perth and Nationally to produce content that performs; across social media, paid advertising, and web. One shoot day. Weeks of content. Built to push past average. Seriously, don’t be influenced by your competitors work! Let me push you for a change!
Tasmanian born. Travelled far and wide, lived in three countries, spent nearly a decade in Melbourne before landing permanently in Fremantle, then started a family, and now have five: twin boys, a partner, and a dog named Spud who has absolutely no chill.
Along the way I've collected obsessions. ocean swimming, surfing, running, hiking, creating landscape content, music obsessive, collecting vinyl and an amateur music producer.
Coffee deserves its own mention, total snob! and if there's a decadent pastry to wash it down with my coffee, even better.
I enjoy doing things my own way. Restless, imaginative and never quite done exploring.
MY APPROACH
A genuine eye for what’s interesting.
That's what I bring to every shoot. Not the same ole boring content that everyone else does (don’t follow the sheep)! you wonder why people have a short attention span! I have a genuine eye for what's interesting, i suppose that’s how my brain has been wired!
Creativity Beyond Comfort. you don’t grow if you don’t push yourself. it just took a while to name it.
